PRNewsFoto/Sony Pictures AnimationMeghan Trainor has some Smurf-tastic news. The singer has written a new tune called “I’m a Lady” for the Smurfs: The Lost Village soundtrack.
“I love the Smurfs and was honored when they asked me to write a song for this new movie,” Meghan says in a statement. “I was especially excited — I wrote the whole thing in one evening!”
The song will be released in the new year, before the film debuts in theaters on April 7.
This latest Smurfs film follows Smurfette and her pals on a journey through the Forbidden Forest to find a mysterious lost village before the villain Gargamel does. Demi Lovato voices Smurfette.
